
Pea soup cooked over a campfire
Description
Perfect for lunch. Pea soup is practically a classic. I never thought it was possible to cook soups outdoors until I went on a hiking trip with friends. Preparing this soup won't cause any trouble during your enjoyable outing. Highly recommended. The soup is ready to serve.

Light a fire and place a pot of water on it. After 10 minutes, add the peas.

Wash, peel, and chop the vegetables.

Skim off the foam that forms. After 30 minutes, add the potato and carrot cut into pieces.

After another 15 minutes, add the canned meat, then immediately add the onion and sliced sausage. Salt and pepper to taste.

Continue cooking the soup until the peas are done. Add the garlic cloves at the very end.

Let the finished soup steep under the lid for 20 minutes.
