
Glass noodles with seafood cocktail
Description
This fairly simple glass noodle salad with seafood cocktail can be prepared using either fresh or frozen vegetables. Bright, appetizing, and very flavorful, this salad will be a highlight of your festive table or a satisfying lunch or dinner.

1. First, place the shrimp into boiling water and cook until done. Then drain in a colander and let cool. Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables. Peel the onion and garlic, and chop them finely.

2. Heat a little olive oil in a skillet (or, if available, use sesame oil for a better version of glass noodles with seafood mix) and add the onion and garlic. Sauté until golden brown.

3. Peel the cooked shrimp.

4. Peel a small piece of ginger root and finely chop (or grate). Finely chop the chili pepper.

5. Wash, remove seeds, and cut the sweet pepper into thin strips.

6. Slice the zucchini thinly or cut into cubes.

7. Chop the celery stalk.

8. Put all the vegetables into the frying pan, gently stir and fry for about 5-7 minutes.

9. Soak the cellophane noodles in boiling water or immerse them in hot water for a couple of minutes.

11. Add soy sauce to taste, and optionally spices to taste—such as paprika, turmeric, for example. Add the seafood mix unthawed, together with the shrimp.

12. Carefully mix everything and simmer in the pan for another 5 minutes. That's it—homemade glass noodle salad with seafood cocktail is ready. It's best served warm, with a little extra oil added if desired.
