
Finnish soup

Peel all the vegetables, rinse, and cut them: carrots into thin slices, potatoes into cubes, green beans into pieces, separate cauliflower into florets, and chop the spinach not too finely.

In a saucepan, bring salted water to a boil, then add carrots, potatoes, green peas, string beans, and cauliflower. When the water comes to a boil again, reduce the heat, cover the saucepan with a lid, and cook the vegetables for 10 to 15 minutes.

Add the spinach and cook uncovered for 1 minute.

In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of milk with flour, gradually pour into the soup while stirring, bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.

Add the remaining milk, whipped cream, salt, and black pepper, stirring.
