
Dietary oatmeal soup (with poultry broth)
Description
The soup is simple and quick to prepare. Despite its simplicity, it turns out delicious and light. This soup is considered diet-friendly, made with broth from lean meat (in this case, quail), and is not fried. It's also perfect for a detox day or simply as a healthy first course. Serve in bowls and enjoy.

Step 1

1. Since quail meat is considered dietary, we'll use it to prepare our soup. So, simmer the meat over low heat until cooked, adding salt and spices.

2. Slice the potatoes and add them to the soup. Wait for the broth to boil, then proceed with the vegetables.

3. Add the chopped onions and carrots to the broth. We will not sauté the vegetables, as we are making a dietary soup.

4. When the potatoes and vegetables come to a boil, cook for 5 minutes, then add the oat flakes to the soup.

5. Cook the oats until done, while in the meantime chop the herbs (any of your choice).

6. At the very end, add the herbs, cook for a couple more minutes, then remove from heat and let it steep for a while.

7. Serve the ready soup hot. If desired, add a little butter to the bowl.
