Dietary turkey salad
Description
The salad is quick and easy to prepare. I had some leftover boiled turkey (after making soup). "Why not make a salad?" I thought. You don't need much to make a light turkey salad: one large sweet-and-sour apple, a couple of celery roots, herbs to taste (besides onion, I added cilantro), and any nuts. I used walnuts, but pecans would work just as well. Just don't dress the salad with mayonnaise—it will ruin the entire flavor. The salad is ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for cooking. Finely chop the cooked turkey meat. Grind the nuts. Wash the green onions, herbs, and celery roots.

Step 2

Cut the apple into small cubes or grate it on a grater. Chop the onion and celery as well. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, making sure there are no large pieces. Lightly season with salt to taste. It's best to dress with olive oil or light sour cream, but not mayonnaise.

Step 3

You can serve the ready-made dietary turkey salad with crackers.
