    Step 1

Prepare a large pot, but do not place it on the heat yet. Pour olive oil into it. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Peel the turnip, carrots, and potatoes, then cut them into small cubes. Rinse the celery and chop it into small pieces. Add the vegetables to the pot. Cut the meat into small pieces and add it to the pot as well. Pour in water and place the pot on the stove. Mix everything well.

When the water is well heated, add the beef bouillon cube. Bring to a boil. Then add the spices—all the peppers, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    Step 3

Drop the fresh tomatoes into boiling water for 2-3 minutes; this will make it easy to peel off their skin. Cut off the stems. Place the tomatoes into the soup whole. Add the canned tomatoes and tomato paste. Cut the lemon in half and put one half into the soup. Stir and cover with a lid again.

Simmer the soup for 40 minutes, stirring constantly. By the end of this time, the fresh tomatoes will have broken down on their own, but you can help them with a fork. Add the peas and beans to the soup, squeeze in the juice from the remaining half of the lemon, and cook for another 20 minutes, stirring.
