
Borscht with pork and beetroot
Description
Perfect for lunch. Serve the soup hot with sour cream. The dish is wonderfully complemented by a piece of fresh bread and fresh onion. And if you additionally have a bite of bacon, it will be incredibly delicious. Serve with herbs and sour cream.

Cut the piece of pork in half, put it in a pot, pour water over it, and place on the stove.

After boiling, drain the water and repeat the process, but this time cook the meat until fully done without discarding the broth.

Peel the onion and cut into large cubes.

Grate the pre-peeled carrots and beets on a coarse grater.

Pour vegetable oil into a well-heated skillet and add onion, beet, and carrot. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat.

Add the diced potatoes to the broth.
