
Borscht with canned meat and buckwheat
Description
Surprise your family with this borscht. They probably don't expect to see buckwheat in borscht. This dish is easy to prepare and can be a great alternative to your usual soups. Be sure to try this soup—you and your family will surely love it. Ladle into bowls and serve.

Boil the broth. Place a pot with two liters of water, bones, and an onion over heat. As soon as the water boils, remove the foam. The broth will be ready in about 2 hours.

When ready, remove the pits and onion. Add well-rinsed buckwheat to the broth.

Finely chop the onion and slice the carrots into thin strips. Fry the vegetables in oil in a pan until golden brown. Then transfer everything to a pot with broth.

Add all the spices and season the broth with salt. Add the can of stewed meat to the pot 5 minutes before it's done. The soup will cook for about 30 minutes.
