Description

In my opinion, white solyanka is just as delicious as the classic version with tomato paste. The characteristic tanginess of this dish comes through well thanks to the pickled cucumber. Overall, the soup is quite rich, hearty, and aromatic. It's simple and quick to prepare if you have ready-made broth. You can also make this solyanka with water.

    Take the ingredients for preparing white solyanka.

    Finely chop a salted or pickled cucumber and place it in a frying pan. Peel, wash, and finely chop the onion. Add it to the cucumber.

    Pour in the sunflower oil and 70 ml of broth. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the onion and cucumber until tender for 10–12 minutes.

    While the vegetables are simmering, prepare the sausage. Finely chop the sausages and semi-smoked sausage.
