
White okroshka on whey
Description
The recipe won't take much time. There's nothing easier than preparing okroshka on buttermilk. Use any sausage you prefer. It can successfully be replaced with ham, roast pork, boiled chicken, beef, or turkey. Serve the soup hot.

Prepare the ingredients for making okroshka with buttermilk.

Cut any cooked sausage (I used "Doctor's") into small cubes.

Boil the potatoes until done. You can do this with or without the skin. Hard boil the eggs. Cool both and peel. Finely chop.

Wash the cucumbers and cut them into small cubes. If the skin is thick, peel the cucumbers.

Wash the green onions and finely chop them, then add to the other ingredients.

Pour milk whey into a pot with sausage, eggs, cucumbers, green onions, and potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste, then mix.

White okroshka with whey is ready. Be sure to add sour cream to the bowl before serving.
