
Bavarian salad with hunter's sausages
Description
A simple dish to prepare. Bavarian salad is very easy to make with hunter's sausages. These sausages have a wonderful smoky aroma and give the salad a very unique flavor. You will also need boiled potatoes, pickled cucumbers, salad onions, and a bit of garlic. For the dressing, use Dijon mustard and vegetable oil. Serve chilled.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Boil the potatoes until tender, then cool and cut into cubes.

Slice the hunter's sausages into rounds.

Cut the pickled cucumbers into slices as well. If the cucumbers are large, it's better to slice them into half-moons.

Place the sliced ingredients into a bowl.

Marinate the onion. To do this, slice it into half-rings, place in a bowl, and pour over apple cider vinegar mixed with water in a 1:2 ratio. Let the onion marinate for 5–7 minutes, then drain the liquid.

Add the pickled onion to the salad.

Add Dijon mustard to the salad, pour in the oil. Mix well.

Season the salad to taste and add garlic, sliced into thin pieces. Mix once again and it's ready. Let the salad steep in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Then serve.
