
Grandma's mushroom soup
Description
The soup is simple and quick to prepare. This mushroom soup made from frozen mushrooms turns out very tasty, aromatic, and rich. It is commonly believed that frozen mushrooms are not the best choice for mushroom soup, as the dish tends to lack sufficient aroma and richness. However, every rule has its exceptions, and this mushroom soup recipe is just such an exception. Serve the soup hot.

1. Pour the grain into cold water. Place on the stove and bring the water to a boil. Reduce the heat to the minimum and cook the grain.

2. Sauté the onion in a frying pan with vegetable oil until translucent. Add the sliced mushrooms to the same pan and cook over medium heat.

3. While the mushrooms are cooking, in a separate container, cook the sliced celery root, parsley root, and carrots in boiling water until tender. After a couple of minutes, add the sliced potatoes.

4. When the potatoes are almost ready, add the previously cooked grain and fried mushrooms to the soup.

5. Then add the peas. Bring the soup to a boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
