
Asian pork and mushroom salad
Description
A simple dish to prepare. This spicy Asian pork salad will add variety to your menu. Serve chilled.

1. Cut the pork tenderloin into thin strips. Slice the mushrooms. Finely chop the green onions. Grate the ginger. Whisk together hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper in a large bowl using a whisk.

2. Add the pork and marinate for 10 minutes.

3. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade using tongs and sear until browned, about 4 minutes. Transfer the pork to a plate. Add 3-4 tablespoons of water to the skillet and scrape up the browned bits, then pour them over the pork on the plate.

4. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the pan. Add the mushrooms and sauté until slightly golden, about 2 minutes.

5. Add the cabbage, stir and fry for about 3 minutes.

6. Add the pork, marinade, and half of the onion; sauté for another 2 minutes. Season with salt and sprinkle with the remaining onion.

7. Place the prepared salad on lettuce leaves, drizzle with Hoisin sauce, and serve.
