Description

The soup is simple and quick to prepare. Lentils, like all other legumes, are very nutritious and contain a lot of protein, vitamins, and minerals. Soups, in particular, are very popular. I suggest making a traditional Armenian lentil soup. This easy-to-cook dish turns out surprisingly delicious and is perfect for everyday meals. Some Armenian versions include nuts and prunes in the soup. There are also vegetarian versions of this soup, so keep in mind that it can easily be cooked without meat, making it suitable for fasting diets. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.
