Cheese soup for children
Description
A hearty first course. To prepare cheesy soup for children, I recommend using light poultry meat (chicken or turkey)—it's both tasty and healthy. For the processed cheese, it's better to use the kind in a tub (it dissolves more easily in the soup). Some processed cheese spreads tend to float on the soup's surface, but the tub kind usually melts quickly. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Rinse the turkey, place it in a 3-liter pot, cover with water, put on the heat and bring to a boil. Remember to skim off the foam. Season the prepared broth with salt and remove the turkey from the broth.

Step 2

Then add sliced carrots to the broth and cook for 10 minutes. Next, add cubed potatoes and cook for another 10 minutes. Then add the chopped boiled meat and processed cheese.

Step 3

Stir well until the cheese melts. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 5–7 minutes.

Step 4

I recommend serving the finished cheese soup for children with croutons made from white bread. To do this, cut the white bread into cubes and fry in a small amount of oil until crispy.

Step 5

That's it! Before serving, add croutons to the soup and sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs.
