Layered salad
Description
A simple dish to prepare. To make it easier to apply a thin layer of mayonnaise, I transfer a few tablespoons of mayonnaise into a plastic bag, cut off the tip, and then squeeze it out in a thin stream, which is easy to control. You can decorate the "Mimosa" salad however you like. I chose three main colors—yellow, green, and red. For these, I used a boiled egg yolk, which I grated and sprinkled over the salad surface; a tomato, which I shaped into a little rose; and a sprig of parsley to add green accents. This salad looks especially impressive when served in a transparent dish, allowing all the layers to be visible. Super simple, beautiful, and delicious. Serve chilled.
