Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Meat zrazы are not a new dish and are quite popular. There are also many recipes for their preparation. The variety of fillings is impressive. I suggest a recipe with an unconventional, yet tasty and nutritious filling—peas. Of course, the peas should be in the form of porridge. This version can be called two-in-one—both meat and side dish. The recipe is affordable, inexpensive, and if you spend a little time, you'll get an excellent main course for lunch or a hearty dinner. Use meat according to your taste. I used pork and chicken. As for the peas, choose varieties that cook soft. The finished dish is ready to be served.

    Prepare the ingredients for making zrazy with peas.

    Soak the peas in cold water for several hours, or overnight. Then, cover with water in a ratio of two parts water to one part peas. Add salt to taste. Place over heat and cook the pea porridge until fully done. Let the porridge cool down.

    While the pea porridge is cooling, wash the chicken and pork, peel the onion and cut it into four parts. Soak the loaf in cold water, then squeeze it slightly. Pass all the ingredients through a meat grinder.

    With wet hands, take the minced meat and shape it into a flat patty. Place 1-1.5 tsp of cooled pea porridge in the center.
