
Beef roulades à la Warsaw
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The main ingredient is beef. It is cooked with a very tasty sauce. The meat turns out aromatic and delicious. Cooking is not difficult. The finished dish can be served at the table.

1. First of all, thoroughly rinse the meat, then cut the beef into wide pieces, always across the grain, with a thickness of approximately one to one and a half centimeters. Now, pound them well until you get flat, thin pieces.

2. Peel the onion and finely chop it. Add slightly softened (but not melted) butter and a little breadcrumbs to the onion, then mix everything together. The filling is ready.

3. Now place the filling evenly on each piece of meat. Then roll them up into rolls and secure the edges with toothpicks. Coat the rolls in flour, pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan, and place the rolls into the pan.

4. Sear the rolls over high heat on all sides until they turn light brown. Then place the rolls into a saucepan, spread the remaining filling on top, add about 250-300 ml of water, and season with salt.

5. Simmer over low heat with the lid closed for about one to one and a half hours. Make sure the dish doesn't burn. The meat should become very tender, forming a delicious and aromatic sauce around it.

6. When the rolls are ready, they go very well with a vegetable side dish, potatoes, or rice.
