With kefir in a multicooker
Description
Home baking for tea. The pie is very easy to make. If your multicooker does not have a “Bake” mode, bake on “Keep Warm” or on another mode that provides the same function.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for making a “Zebra” cake.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the eggs into a bowl and add the sugar.
- 3
Step 3

Mix well with a whisk.
- 4
Step 4

Pour the kefir and refined sunflower oil.
- 5
Step 5

Add the baking soda and flour. You do not need to neutralize the baking soda with vinegar; the kefir contains enough acid.
- 6
Step 6

Mix the batter thoroughly until smooth and even. It should be the consistency of thick pancake batter.
- 7
Step 7

Divide the dough into two parts. Add cocoa to one part and mix.
- 8
Step 8

Grease the multicooker inner pot with oil or line it with parchment paper. Alternately spoon the light and dark batter into the centre of the pot.
- 9
Step 9

Bake the pie in the multicooker on the “Bake” setting for 50–60 minutes. Check doneness with a wooden skewer: when inserted into the center of the pie, it should come out dry.
- 10
Step 10

Cool the pie in the bowl, remove it, slice it, and serve.
