
Curd swirls in sour cream topping
Description
A somewhat fussy and not entirely simple recipe for curd swirls in a sour cream topping. Nevertheless, the final result will make you forget all the cooking difficulties! Brew some hot tea or coffee, invite your friends, and treat them to these exquisite curd swirls. The taste is indescribable. Serve with tea or coffee.

Prepare the necessary set of ingredients.

Add yeast to slightly warmed milk, also add 3 tsp of flour and 1/2 tsp of sugar. Gently mix, cover with plastic wrap, and let the starter sit in a warm place for 40 minutes. Then sift the remaining flour, add sugar and salt, and mix. Add softened margarine and sour cream to this dry mixture, and thoroughly rub into fine crumbs. Now pour in the fermented starter, mix thoroughly and knead the dough. Then cover it and set aside for 10–15 minutes.

Now let's prepare the filling. Mix the prepared cottage cheese with egg and sugar.

Roll out the prepared dough and evenly spread the cottage cheese filling over it. Roll the dough into a log and cut it into pieces of the desired size.

Place the resulting cottage cheese pieces onto a baking sheet previously greased with butter. Arrange them with space between each future swirl. Brush the tops with beaten egg. Let the future buns rest for 40 minutes. Then place them in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees and bake until golden brown.

Towards the end of baking, prepare the sour cream topping. Simply mix sour cream (200 g) with sugar (1 tablespoon). Pour the mixture over the rolls immediately after baking.
