
Choux Waffles
Description
Baking is simple and quick to prepare. For making waffles, you can replace part of the milk with 20% cream. The taste will only improve from this. It is very important to knead the batter thoroughly; an immersion blender will help you with that.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Pour 125 ml of milk into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, and butter. Place over heat and bring to a boil. Stirring, keep it on the heat for 1–2 minutes. Then remove it.

Add the flour. Quickly stir with a spatula.

Return the dough to the heat. Heat for a couple of minutes, stirring, until a dry crust appears on the bottom of the saucepan.

Transfer the dough to a bowl.

Add the eggs to the batter one at a time. After each addition, beat well with a mixer.

When you add the last egg, beat the batter thoroughly.

Add 125 ml of milk. Blend with an immersion blender so there are no lumps in the batter.

The dough is ready. Leave it at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Preheat the waffle iron. Grease the plates with vegetable oil. Pour in a portion of batter, approximately 1.5 tbsp. Bake for 4–5 minutes.
