
Vanilla custard cream with banana
Description
Here is a recipe for banana custard cream. It results in a very simple yet wonderful culinary creation! This cream can be spread on bread instead of jam, used as a filling for cakes or pies, or simply chilled in the refrigerator and served as a standalone dessert.

Step 1

1. Mix the butter and milk, and heat them over very low heat until boiling. Then add both types of sugar (regular and vanilla), bring to a boil again, and let it thicken slightly.

2. Bring to a semi-thick consistency, as shown in the photo. Add banana mashed with a fork and cardamom. Mix well and bring to a boil.

3. Now transfer the mixture to a blender and puree it. Return it to the saucepan and bring to a boil once again. Simmer over low heat until the mixture becomes thick and creamy.

4. That's it! Decorate and serve our banana custard as a dessert, or use it as a filling for pies!
