Condensed milk custard cream
Description
This amount of cream is enough for a small cake. The butter should be of good quality, with a fat content of at least 82%. You can buy condensed milk at the store, but it's best to make it at home. Keep in mind that low-quality condensed milk won't cook properly and may remain liquid.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making condensed milk custard.
- 2
Step 2

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, break the egg, add the flour, and whisk until smooth.

Step 3

Heat the milk, but do not bring it to a boil. Gradually pour the hot milk into the egg mixture in a thin stream, whisking continuously. Mix until smooth and uniform.

Step 4

Place the saucepan over the lowest heat and, stirring constantly, cook the cream until thickened. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the butter, and stir until melted and smooth. Place a sheet of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the cream and let it cool completely.

Step 5

Place the condensed milk in a bowl and beat slightly. Add the condensed milk in portions, beating well each time. Chill the finished cream in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to stabilize.
