Description

Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Usually, éclairs and profiteroles are baked from choux pastry. But you can also make other cookies. They are unusual and tasty. Savory cookies with nuts and drizzled with chocolate.

    1. To make choux pastry, pour water into a pot. Add butter and salt and bring to a boil. Stir in the flour and remove from the heat. Stir until a smooth, homogeneous dough forms.

    2. Now let's deal with the nuts. It is advisable to remove their skins. The skins are usually bitter. Pour boiling water over the nuts for a few minutes. Then pry the skin off with a knife, and it will come off. Dry the nuts and chop them.

    3. The dough base has cooled slightly. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well. Then pour the nuts into the dough and mix again.

    4. On a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper and, using a pastry bag or a dessert spoon, place the dough balls.

    5. At a temperature of 180 °C, bake the cookies for about 20–25 minutes. Since the cookies need to dry out, reduce the oven heat to 70 °C and keep the cookies in it for another 30 minutes.

    6. Melt the chocolate, butter, cognac and sugar in a water bath. Hook the liver with a toothpick and dip it in the glaze. The cookies are ready. Store the cookies in the refrigerator.
