Thoroughly wash the cucumbers and soak them in cold water for 4–5 hours. Change the water once.

Peel the garlic. Wash all the herbs. Cut the pepper and horseradish into small rounds.

Prepare the brine. Boil the salt in water.

Arrange the cucumbers and spices in clean jars.

Pour the brine over the cucumbers and tie cheesecloth on top. Leave at room temperature for 3–4 days.
