Casserole in a multicooker

Description

The recipe will not take much time. Instead of semolina, you can use wheat flour, but with semolina it turns out tastier and fluffier. Cocoa powder, if you like, can be replaced with chocolate, which should first be melted in a double boiler and cooled, and only then added to the batter. If you make the casserole with flour, do not forget to add baking soda or baking powder. Adjust the amount of sugar to your taste. You can also add flavorings you enjoy—cinnamon, zest, lemon or orange juice, and others. For me, vanilla was enough. The bake is done. Serve at the table.

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients. For the pie, choose cottage cheese that is as dry and high-fat as possible, preferably homemade.

    Place the cottage cheese in the bowl and crack in the chicken eggs.

    Add sugar, salt, and vanillin.

    Using an immersion blender, blend the cottage cheese mixture until smooth and homogeneous.

    Add the sour cream and blend again until smooth.

    Using a whisk, stir in the semolina until the mixture forms a smooth dough. Leave it at room temperature for 10–15 minutes so the semolina can swell.

    Divide the cottage cheese mixture into 2 equal parts; add cocoa powder to one of them. Mix thoroughly.

    Line the multicooker bowl with parchment paper or grease it with oil. Spoon the white dough into the very centre of the bowl. I used about 1.5 tablespoons of white batter each time, then spread about 1–1.5 tablespoons of chocolate dough on top.

    Arrange all the dough this way, alternating white and chocolate.

    Using a wooden skewer, decorate the top of the casserole with a pattern. Place the inner pot in the multi-cooker, select the “Bake” program for 50 minutes, and cook until the signal. After that, do not open the lid immediately; leave the pie there for another 10 minutes.

    Then carefully pull on the parchment strips and transfer the finished pie to a serving dish. Pull out the parchment. Let the casserole cool.

    Cut the finished, cooled cottage cheese “Zebra” into portions and serve with tea or coffee.
