Cheese casserole with pineapple
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. Prepare a cottage cheese mixture with raisins. Place pineapple pieces at the bottom of the baking dish, then top with the prepared casserole mixture. Bake in the oven, turn out onto a serving plate, and serve slightly cooled. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Prepare the raisins in advance. Pour boiling water over them and let them soak for 10 minutes. Then drain the water and dry the raisins with a paper towel. They will become softer and tastier.
- 3
Step 3

Separate the yolk of one egg. Beat the egg white and 2 whole eggs with sugar. Keep in mind that you can use more sugar; the casserole turns out moderately sweet.
- 4
Step 4

Add semolina, lemon zest (I used dried), vanilla sugar, and raisins to the cottage cheese. Mix well.
- 5
Step 5

Pour the egg mixture into the cottage cheese and mix well again.
- 6
Step 6

Grease a pan (26 cm in diameter, or 24 cm) with butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and place rings of canned pineapple on the bottom.
- 7
Step 7

On top of the pineapple, place the cottage cheese mixture, spread it evenly, and brush with egg yolk using a pastry brush. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Our casserole is ready. Turn it out onto a plate and serve warm or cold.
- 9
Step 9

Remove from the oven and serve warm or cooled.
