Baked casserole with dried fruits without sugar

40 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

To make the sugar-free casserole still sweet in taste, I added dried fruits to it. Depending on your preferences, the dried fruits can be slightly tart, like prunes, or very sweet, like dates. Raisins will add a strong sweetness; if you use enough of them, you won't even need honey. The baked dish is ready. Serve it at the table.

Instructions

    Step 1

For my diet-friendly casserole, I chose low-fat cottage cheese. I break 4 eggs into it. Add a couple of tablespoons of semolina. Add two tablespoons of honey. You can omit the honey if you prefer—it's just a matter of personal taste.

Be sure to soak the dried fruits in cold water before using them. This will remove harmful substances used to treat them. I chop the washed dried fruits into pieces. I add cinnamon. It will give the casserole a pleasant sweet-spicy flavor.

For sweetness, you can add raisins to the casserole. The more raisins, the sweeter the taste. But this is a matter of personal preference. Mix everything thoroughly. Optionally, you can add ground ginger or grate a vanilla bean.

Now take a baking tray or any other ovenproof dish. Grease it with oil or line it with parchment paper. Place our casserole on it and smooth it out. Put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Watch carefully to make sure it doesn't burn!

After 20 minutes, I take out the tray. Everything is ready! Now let the casserole sit for a little while. It's better to eat it not right away, but about 15-20 minutes after cooking.
