Broccoli casserole in a multicooker

60 min4 serv.19 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. While cooking the casserole in the multicooker, I only opened it once—to add cheese. This means you don't need to monitor the cooking process at all. If something goes wrong, the device will alert you and automatically stop cooking. I present to you this recipe. The finished dish can be served immediately.

Instructions

    Step 1

We need fresh or frozen broccoli. If the vegetable is heavily frozen, pour room-temperature water over it. Once thawed, begin cooking. Separate the broccoli into florets.

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. Add milk, salt, and spices. Mix everything together. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Add part of the cheese to the milk mixture and set the rest aside for later. Chop the onion into small cubes. You can use green onion, leek, etc.

    Step 3

Place broccoli in the bottom of the multicooker. Slice tomatoes and sausages into rounds and arrange them on top of the broccoli florets. Add salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the top.

I load the vegetables in a cheesy dairy mixture into my favorite multi-functional multicooker. I select the "Aspic/Stewing" mode. The timer automatically sets for 40 minutes, which is enough time for the vegetables to stew thoroughly. To get a delicious crust on the casserole, I use a little trick: after 20 minutes, I remove the small inner lid that prevents steam from escaping, sprinkle on some more grated cheese, and continue stewing for the remaining 20 minutes.

The multicooker has signaled. That means it's ready. Place a portion of the casserole with broccoli, tomatoes, and baked cheese onto a plate. It looks delicious!
