Casserole in a frying pan
Description
Perfectly complements tea and coffee. During summer, baking in the oven is not very appealing. If you still want to treat yourself to something delicious, try preparing an alternative dish. For example, a skillet casserole — it's quick, simple, tasty, and easy to make. The same ingredients, only the casserole is cooked on the stovetop with one essential condition — covered with a lid. The baked dish is ready. Serve at the table.

Step 1

1. You can use any type of cottage cheese to make this casserole. This time I used a coarse-grained one. We will also need eggs, semolina, lemon zest, and sugar. Flour is not added to the casserole. Through trial and error, I've concluded that semolina works better than flour as a substitute.

Step 3

3. Gradually add the semolina and continue beating.

9. Fry over low heat with the lid closed for about 30 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

10. When the casserole is ready, let it sit for a few minutes so it easily releases from the pan's sides.

Step 12

12. This skillet casserole goes very well with sour cream, condensed milk, or jam.
