
Potato casserole
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The casserole turns out creamy and tender. It should be served hot, accompanied by fresh vegetables or canned food. You can add fresh herbs to the casserole if desired—they will give it a special flavor. Serve hot.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into 2-3 cm cubes. Place the potatoes in salted water and cook until done. Then drain the water and lightly mash with a fork.

Cut the bacon into thin strips. Fry them in a pan over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Transfer the fried bacon to paper towels to drain excess fat, then crumble it by hand.

In a blender bowl, combine milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Add pepper, salt, and half of the grated cheese, and squeeze in the garlic. Blend until smooth together with the potatoes.

Grease the baking dish with butter. Place the potato mixture in the dish, then sprinkle the fried bacon on top, and cover with the second half of the grated cheese.
