
Frozen cauliflower and broccoli casserole
Description
This recipe won’t take much time. A wholesome, diet-friendly, and easy-to-make dish for the whole family! The casserole turns out filling yet not very high in calories. You can serve this casserole for breakfast or as a light dinner. Fresh vegetables or various sauces make an excellent accompaniment—I served it with sour cream. The recipe is simple—be sure to try it! A great way to vary your everyday menu. Serve chilled or slightly warm.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Boil the broccoli and cauliflower in boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes. Then drain the hot water and immediately pour ice water over the vegetables, after which transfer them to a sieve or colander.

Beat the eggs with salt.

Add milk.

Beat everything together once more and add grated cheese (reserve some for the top).

Grease the baking pan with oil. Sprinkle the bottom and sides with semolina or breadcrumbs. Arrange the vegetables and sprinkle with ground pepper.

Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and cauliflower.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
