Salmon goes well with practically any ingredients. The main thing is the cooking method. Milk with fish is generally not recommended for consumption. But when baked and prepared with the right recipe, everything fits perfectly. The finished dish can be served at the table.

    Let's start with the cauliflower. Rinse the head and separate the florets from each other so that it's more convenient to boil and the stems become softer. Boil for about 10 minutes in slightly salted water.

    While the cabbage is cooking, let's prepare the sauce for the casserole. Melt the butter in a skillet. Add flour and stir continuously over heat. Gradually pour in warm milk, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper. Add grated cheese and simmer for a couple more minutes, stirring. The sauce is ready.

    Prepare the fish. Remove bones and skin from the fillet. Cut into pieces. Fry the fish in a pan with vegetable oil for 5 minutes.

    Cut the cauliflower into pieces if the florets are large. Mix the salmon with the cauliflower, season with salt and pepper. Finely chop any available fresh herbs and add to the mixture. Pour in our sauce, mix everything well, and transfer into a heatproof dish with high sides. Pour the remaining sauce over the fish and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.

    After the allotted time, turn off the oven. Remove the casserole after about ten minutes. Let it sit for a little longer. That's it—enjoy and savor the combination of delicate flavors.
