
Sauerkraut Casserole
Description
The bake is prepared simply and quickly. In the past, fresh cabbage was very hard to find in winter. Therefore, housewives would stock up on this vegetable in advance. This is exactly the kind of cabbage needed for this casserole. If it is very sour, pour cold water over it and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Let it stand for 5 minutes. Then rinse and start cooking. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Rinse the cabbage under running water. Squeeze it well. Pour the oil into a pan, heat it and add the cabbage. Sauté over medium heat for 10 minutes. It should become golden.

Add sour cream, cover with a lid, and simmer under the lid for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat, let it cool a little. Add semolina, eggs, pepper, salt and stir.
