
Potato and Pasta Casserole
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. The dish is undoubtedly very simple and may seem too banal to some. But don't rush to conclusions. Such a casserole will make a good standalone dish with pickles and fresh vegetables. It will also serve as an excellent side dish to any meat, poultry, or fish. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Peel and wash the potatoes and carrots. Place them in a pot and cover with clean, filtered water. Salt to taste. Cook until tender. Then drain the water.

Take one small onion, peel, wash, and cut it arbitrarily. Place it in a pan.

Pour sunflower oil and sauté the onion in a pan until golden brown.

Boil the pasta. For this, place the pasta into boiling salted water, stir so that they don’t stick to the bottom. Cook for 10–12 minutes. Then drain the water.

Add the pasta and fried onion to the pot with boiled potatoes and carrots.

Mix these ingredients and taste for salt. If desired, you can add any seasonings.

In a small pot or bowl, pour the milk with cream. Grate half of the cheese. Add a little salt. You can add ground black pepper, nutmeg. Bring to a boil, stirring. The cheese should melt.

Place the potatoes with carrots, onions, and pasta in a greased baking dish.

Pour the prepared cheese sauce over it and place it in the oven, preheated to 190 °C, for 10 minutes.

After that, grate the remaining cheese and sprinkle it over the casserole. Put it back in the oven for 3–4 minutes until the cheese melts.
