Description

The recipe won't take much time. To make the casserole juicy and tender, don't skimp on the butter. The filling includes garlic, which adds extra flavor. You can use either fresh or frozen green peas. To find out, serve hot.

    Place a frying pan on the stove and heat it. Melt a piece of butter in the pan. Peel the onion and dice it. Sauté the onion in the butter until golden, then press the peeled garlic cloves through a garlic press and add them to the onion.

    Pour water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Peel and wash the potatoes. Place the potatoes into the boiling water, add salt, and cook until tender. Then drain off the excess liquid, add a piece of butter, and pour in the milk. Prepare the mashed potatoes.

    Grate any type of hard cheese and add it to the mashed potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste, then mix everything thoroughly.
