Description
The recipe won't take much time. The perfect snack for any gathering of friends or family — baked Suluguni with crackers or toast. Don't forget that the cheese melts easily, so you need to bake it in a mold. Serve the cheese hot so it stretches when tasted. Serve the appetizer at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use any type of bread, even a baguette or lavash.
- 2
Step 2

Taste the cheese before you start preparing the dish. If it is salty, omit the salt from the ingredient list. Grate the Sulguni on a fine grater and place it in a heatproof earthenware or glass baking dish. Do not bake the cheese as a whole wheel, because it melts and does not hold its shape at all. The cheese should only be baked in a ramekin or in a baking dish. Cut the bread slices in half or into sticks, like croutons. Place them in the dish.

Step 3

Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees. Spray the bread slices with vegetable oil and sprinkle with vegetable seasoning. You can also use other spices and seasonings.
- 4
Step 4

Place the dish in a preheated oven and bake for about 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the bread slices are golden brown.

Step 5

Serve the baked suluguni hot at the table together with bread crusts, so they can be used to pull the cheese out of the mold.
