Baked Sweet Pepper with Walnuts
Description
It works both for a holiday and for everyday meals. To make this appetizer, you can use any bell pepper — green, red, or yellow. Baked sweet pepper with walnuts is served both warm and cold, and it tastes equally delicious either way. Serve with herbs and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Wash and dry the peppers and parsley.
- 2
Step 2

Transfer the peppers to any ovenproof dish and place them in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 30 minutes on convection mode. The peppers should develop light char marks on the skin.
- 3
Step 3

Transfer the parsley, walnuts, and garlic to the blender bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste, and pour in the oil.

Step 4

Blend the contents of the blender until smooth. You can then adjust the flavor to taste. If desired, add a little white vinegar for acidity, soy sauce, your favorite vegetable seasoning, and you can also use cilantro instead of parsley if you like.
- 5
Step 5

Carefully peel the cooked peppers, trim the tops, and let all the liquid that has collected inside drain out.
- 6
Step 6

Place a generous spoonful of walnut paste on each pepper.
- 7
Step 7

Garnish the finished appetizer with parsley leaves and serve. Very tasty both warm and cold.
