
Baked Sea Bass
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Let me tell you how to deliciously bake sea bass. I should mention right away that it will require some effort and time, but it's definitely worth it. The meat of sea bass is very tasty and, in fact, suitable for almost any type of cooking. However, we will be baking it. Baked sea bass goes well with practically any side dishes. Whether you need a side dish is up to you, but this dish should be served only hot. Good luck! Place the sea bass in the refrigerator to thaw overnight. Then clean the fish. Trim the fins. Cut off the head, but leave the tail for aesthetic appeal :) Remove the scales, take out the innards, rinse thoroughly, and remove the black membrane.

Prepare the vegetables.

Put all the spices into a mortar and grind them with a pestle.

Rub the fish thoroughly with spices, making sure to season the cavity well. Place it in a suitable dish, add several bay leaves, pour over white wine, and squeeze in the juice of half a lemon. Let it marinate for an hour, then turn the fish over in the marinade and let it sit for another hour.

Slice the onion into rings, sauté in olive oil until golden brown, and transfer to a separate bowl.

We peel the tomatoes and slice them.

Remove the fish from the marinade and coat it in flour. Heat the skillet over high heat, pour in olive oil (enough oil), and fry the fish on both sides until golden brown.

Grease the baking dish with olive oil. Place half of the tomatoes on the bottom, along with grated garlic and the bay leaf from the marinade.

Add a pinch of salt and place half of the fried onion on top.

Then we lay the fried fish.

Place the chopped herbs and the remaining onion on the fish.

Place the tomatoes on top. Pour the marinade over the dish and put it in a preheated oven at 240 degrees for about 40 minutes. Every 5–7 minutes, be sure to baste the fish with the juices that collect in the baking dish.

Then we take out the fish, transfer it to a plate, and serve. :)
