Baked cisco fish
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Grayling is a little-known fish from the salmon family, which is a pity, as its taste is in no way inferior to trout or other salmon species. It does have very fine scales, making it a bit difficult to clean, but it has few bones and the result is excellent! To bake grayling, you'll need spices, half a lemon, herbs, and foil. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Wash the fish, clean and gut it. Cut off its tail and fins.
- 3
Step 3

Slice the lemon into rounds or wedges. Generously salt and pepper the fish on the outside and inside. Place lemon, rosemary, and cilantro inside the fish.
- 4
Step 4

Wrap the fish in foil, place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

While the fish is baking, you can prepare a vegetable side dish. Take string beans and sauté them in heated vegetable oil in a frying pan.
- 6
Step 6

Then add the diced carrots and bell pepper. Mix, season with salt and pepper, and add a little water so the vegetables simmer instead of burning.
- 7
Step 7

Add grated ginger to taste, and simmer covered until the vegetables are cooked.
- 8
Step 8

Meanwhile, the fish has baked and is already ready. If you want an appetizing golden-brown crust, open the foil and keep the fish in the oven for another 10 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the baked char with vegetables and wine.
