
Roasted garlic

Suitable for both special occasions and everyday meals. Here is a classic recipe for roasted garlic. As you can see, it is very easy to make. Garlic lovers are sure to enjoy this recipe. You can roast the cloves one at a time—wrap each one in foil or use muffin tins. If you want to roast a large batch, you can do it in a large baking dish. But you must cover the top with foil! Roasted garlic loses much of its heat and most of its aroma, but what remains is still enough for a tasty appetizer. Good luck. Serve with fresh herbs and sauce.

Select garlic heads of roughly the same size. Remove the thin outer layer of papery skin and trim off the tops to expose the cloves.

We will roast the garlic in foil. Lay out a sheet of foil, place the garlic on it, and drizzle with oil so it seeps into the head. Season lightly with salt.

Wrap the garlic in foil and place it in an oven preheated to 200°C for 25–30 minutes. The time depends on the size of the garlic heads and how done you want them.
