
Baked pineapple
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This juicy and aromatic treat will be enjoyed by both adults and children, especially as a dessert or afternoon snack. The pineapple doesn't take long to bake, but its delicious taste lingers on the lips for quite a while—you'll definitely want to make it again! By the way, baked pineapple can be used as a filling for pancakes, buns, or pies. Serve it chilled.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Rinse the pineapple in water and cut it in half if it's large. If the fruit is small, bake it whole and sprinkle with spices when serving.

Carefully cut out the tough core from half of the fruit; it will not be needed for the recipe.

Place half of the pineapple into a baking dish, sprinkle with sugar and ground cinnamon. You can optionally add vanilla sugar.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and bake the fruit for about 15–20 minutes, until it is almost soft but still holds its shape.
