Baked apples with nuts and raisins
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This incredibly delicious and healthy dish is very easy to prepare. It can be served both hot and cold. This is a wonderful dessert suitable even for the little ones. I love this dessert because you can constantly experiment with the filling :) Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. The baking time for apples depends on their size, so choose apples of the same size.
- 2
Step 2

2. Carefully cut out the core with a knife, being careful not to pierce the apples all the way through, otherwise the juice will leak out during baking. Line a baking sheet with foil and place the apples on it.
- 3
Step 3

3. Cut the butter into small cubes and place a piece into each apple. Add half a teaspoon of sugar into the center. If the apples are sweet, you can omit the sugar.
- 4
Step 4

4. Wash the raisins and cranberries in advance so they dry completely (do not soak them). Choose nuts to your taste; I selected cashews and almonds.
- 5
Step 5

5. When stuffing apples, start with raisins and cranberries so they don't end up on top, otherwise they will dry out and burn. Add nuts into each apple at the very end. After baking, they will turn out crispy.
- 6
Step 6

6. Bake apples in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees.
- 7
Step 7

7. When the apples have cooled, sprinkle them with powdered sugar and enjoy!
