Baked apples with honey in a multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Baking apples is the easiest method. Prepared this way, they are not only delicious but also healthy. Honey and dried cranberries as a filling go perfectly with the fragrant baked apple flesh. The simplest way is to bake them in the oven. But this time I suggest using a multicooker. Preparing this dessert in a multicooker turns out to be much faster and easier. You can use apples of any variety, although winter varieties will take longer to cook. Choose honey to your taste. I recommend cooking with the steam release valve removed, so the process will be very similar to baking due to minimal steam. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for baking apples.
- 2
Step 2

Wash the apples. Using a knife, make a cone-shaped funnel from the stem side, removing the seeds as much as possible.
- 3
Step 3

Pour honey into the funnel. If it's not liquid, gently warm it in the microwave.
- 4
Step 4

Rinse the dried cranberries and pour boiling water over them. Place several berries into each apple.
- 5
Step 5

Pierce each apple in several places with a toothpick and transfer to the multicooker bowl. Pour in 2-3 tablespoons of water and remove the steam release valve. Set the "Baking" mode. However, do not rely solely on the multicooker's automatic setting. Baking the apples will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on the firmness and variety of the apples.

Step 6

Remove the ready baked apples from the multicooker and place them on a plate.

Step 7

Baked apples with honey in a multicooker are ready. Let cool and serve. You can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
