Baked chanterelles

Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. It requires a bit of effort, but the result is worth it—home-baked chanterelles turn out incredibly delicious. I'm used to cooking them with potatoes, but you can bake them simply in sour cream sauce and prepare a separate side dish. The finished dish can be served at the table.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

    1. First, prepare the mushrooms and wash them thoroughly under running water. When I have time, I soak them for half an hour. Then boil the oyster mushrooms in salted water for about thirty minutes.

    2. While the mushrooms are boiling, peel the potatoes. It will look more attractive if you slice them into rings, just like the onion. Some people prefer to cut the potatoes into matchsticks for this dish—it's up to you. Then layer them in the following order: potatoes as the 1st layer, onion as the 2nd layer, mushrooms as the 3rd layer. Don't forget to spread mayonnaise on each layer.

    3. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle it over the mushrooms and vegetables, forming a kind of "cap". Season the casserole with salt and pepper to taste.

    4. That's it, now put our mushrooms with potatoes in the oven for forty minutes. Adjust the heat so that the temperature does not exceed 170 degrees, and watch for the golden crust to appear, which will indicate that our dish is ready.
