
Baked mussels
Description
Suitable for both holidays and everyday meals. Cooking mussels couldn't be simpler—we'll bake them with soy sauce and spices. You can serve this mussel dish with rice or pasta; you can also use the baked mussels in salads, or serve them simply as seafood and let guests help themselves onto their plates, though in that case you should also provide a sauce. Prepare all the ingredients. Take the mussels out of the freezer ahead of time and let them thaw.

Pre heat oven. Set 180 degrees. Transfer mussels to ovenproof dish greased with vegetable oil.

Squeeze the juice from a lemon wedge directly onto the mussels.

Add the soy sauce.

Add the spices meant for fish, also add salt and pepper to taste, and mix everything.

Cover the dish with foil and bake the mussels for 25–30 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for another 10 minutes.
