
Baked Mushrooms with Brie Cheese
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This mushroom dish is prepared quickly and very simply—within half an hour you'll have a delicious appetizer. Serve hot.

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Press the garlic using a garlic press. Chop the parsley. Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the mushroom caps and stir to coat with butter. Lightly season with salt and sauté for 1 minute. Remove mushrooms from the skillet and place them on a plate, hollow side up.

2. To the same skillet (without cleaning), add garlic, parsley, and green onion. Add salt. Add a little wine, if using. Cook for about 1 minute, until the wine evaporates. Remove from heat.

3. Remove the rind from the Brie cheese slice, then cut it into cubes that match the size of the mushroom caps. Place the cheese cubes into the cavities of the mushroom caps, gently pressing down on the cheese pieces.

4. Place the onion-garlic mixture on top. Put the mushrooms on a baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, until the cheese melts. It's best to serve the mushrooms after they have cooled slightly.
