1. Trim excess fat from the meat and cut it into 2 cm cubes. Peel and slice the carrots. Peel and dice the potatoes. Peel the onion and chop coarsely.

3. Pour the remaining vegetable oil into a skillet, heat over medium heat, and add the onion. Fry, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, until the onion softens. Sprinkle with flour and cook, stirring, for another minute. The flour is needed to thicken the sauce.
