
Baked Cauliflower in Sauce

1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add salt, chili, and turmeric. Add the cauliflower and cook over medium heat for about 4 minutes.

2. Then pat dry and transfer to an ovenproof dish.

3. Heat a little vegetable oil in a skillet. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 4–5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, and chili and cook for another couple of minutes.

4. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, sugar, and spices to the same pan. Simmer over low heat for 8–10 minutes.

5. Remove from the heat, let cool slightly, and blend until smooth. Pour in the coconut milk and mix.

6. Add the chopped nuts and coat the cabbage on all sides with the resulting sauce. Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 45–75 minutes until tender (the time depends on the size of the cabbage).
