Baked chicken in the oven
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. First, remove the backbone, then place the chicken in a baking dish, arranging the wings and legs properly. You'll end up with a perfect chicken with a crispy crust. You can prepare duck, chicken, or goose in the same way. Use any spices to taste. Serve the meat immediately after cooking. The finished dish can now be served.

Step 1

1. Place the chicken on a cutting board with the breast side down. Take scissors and start cutting out the backbone.

Step 2

2. If it's difficult for you to cut, then cut farther away from the spine. After removing the spine, set it aside.

Step 3

3. Flip the chicken over and spread it out slightly. Position the legs so they are turned inward, with the majority of the chicken facing upward.
- 4
Step 4

4. Flatten the chicken so that the breast and thigh meat are approximately at the same level.
- 5
Step 5

5. Tuck the wing tips into the center to prevent them from burning during cooking.

Step 6

6. Place the bird in a roasting pan, rub with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Put the pan in a preheated oven at 230 degrees.

Step 7

7. Cook for 35–45 minutes, until the internal temperature in the thighs and breasts reaches 73 degrees and the chicken develops a golden-brown crust. Depending on size, cooking time may vary.
